Dry-aged, grass-finished burgers are so juicy and have a great beefy flavor. Load them up with fresh tomato, lettuce, and onion, or try them Savannah style with cheese and ketchup only!
Ingredients
- (4 patties) Hamburger Patties
- (1t) Salt
- (1t) Fresh ground pepper
- (1/2 t) Onion powder
- (1/2 t) Garlic powder
- (1/2 t) Sugar
- (4) Cheddar cheese slices
- (4) Hamburger buns
- (1T) Ketchup
Directions
- Heat cast iron skillet to medium high and drizzle a little olive oil in the bottom of the pan.
- In a small bowl mix the spices together.
- Sprinkle half the spices on one side of the patties, pressing them into the meat.
- Place the patties spice side down in the hot skillet.
- Sprinkle the remaining spices on top of the patties.
- Cook 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
- Top with cheese about 1 minute before taking the burgers out of the pan so the cheese can melt.
- Serve on a bun with a big dollop of ketchup!
