Savannah's Hamburgers
Dry-aged, grass-finished burgers are so juicy and have a great beefy flavor. Load them up with fresh tomato, lettuce, and onion, or try them Savannah style with cheese and ketchup only!

Ingredients

  • (4 patties) Hamburger Patties
  • (1t) Salt
  • (1t) Fresh ground pepper
  • (1/2 t) Onion powder
  • (1/2 t) Garlic powder
  • (1/2 t) Sugar
  • (4) Cheddar cheese slices
  • (4) Hamburger buns
  • (1T) Ketchup

Directions

  1. Heat cast iron skillet to medium high and drizzle a little olive oil in the bottom of the pan.
  2. In a small bowl mix the spices together.
  3. Sprinkle half the spices on one side of the patties, pressing them into the meat.
  4. Place the patties spice side down in the hot skillet.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining spices on top of the patties.
  6. Cook 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
  7. Top with cheese about 1 minute before taking the burgers out of the pan so the cheese can melt.
  8. Serve on a bun with a big dollop of ketchup!
